I've viewed the Seven and 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners online tutorial and it all seems pretty straight-forward. In general we are all lifelong learners by default (well we should be) and the steps detailed in the tutorial are only explicitly engaged when we come across one of those problems that are actually challenges.
The easiest Habit, creating a learning toolbox - generally a big stack of articles to read - though working through such a reading list is likely to be a challenge or is that a problem?
The hardest Habit, the confidence that you are a competent, effective learner - this can reveal itself in not being willing to "tinker" with a piece of technology for fear of breaking it or perhaps not being willing to use or voice your new found knowledge for fear of it not being complete.
As an aside, especially for those of us who over the coming months may be involved in the creation of media enriched IL learning objects - narration is critical for positive reception. The Seven and 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners says what it needs to say but the narration ... a terrible distraction.
